LOTUS 19 ITS FIRST DEFEAT
The MK I competed very successfully in
international
competition winning races against the world's best
manufacturers, including Ferrari, Porsche, Lotus,
Maserati, Cooper, Chapparal, Jaguar
COMPETITON DRIVER - SPORTS RACING CARS
(1957 – 1969)
COMPETED FOR 12 YEARS IN OVER 200 SPORTS
RACING EVENTS, amateur and professional,
in the U.S., Canada, and the Bahamas.
Raced
CORVETTES in conjunction with General Motors
experimental division, including one of four
experimental
Corvette Gran Sports.
Competed in Canada and the U.S. in 1961 in the
first
JAGUAR XKE shipped to North America, (#4 prototype).

Lightweight/short wheelbase version.
